It’s a blessing to see sista’s finding love with men other than black men who don’t respect us (black women) at all. Over the years black women have been told that we weren’t beautiful and no other race of men wanted us, but I see this a LIE! Sista’s keep it coming! When I get married, my husband will not be black.

      Vivian,
Like you, I’m excited to see more interracial couples such as my husband and I. Thanks to the Internet and the power of technology, the world has been opened to us. I do hope one day that everyone will realize their self worth should not be tied to another person.

AWWW!!! You guys are beautiful! I was browsing the internet looking for interracial couples involving Indian men and black women because although I am attracted to men of all races, including my own, I have found myself having an attraction to mainly Indian men within the last few years and I think it is because I see more men of this ethnic group in the area I stay. However, I tend to see the Indian men and women hanging in groups together and I get discouraged because I don’t know if they would even be open-minded to consider dating outside their race, let alone, black women.

I read the rest of your blog and LOVE your style of writing. May God continue to bless your union! Take care and thanks for sharing your life with us.

      Journee,
Thank you so much for the sweet comments. It’s hard to predict if an Indian man will date outside of his culture. The only way to really find out is to get to know them. Sooner or later you’ll find out their world view and at the end of the day if he’s not into dating outside of his culture, at least you will have gained a new friend.

What a slap in the face of our social mores! True liberation is stepping out of your own skin and taking a spiritual journey to the farthest reaching corners of the earth. I am so happy that you found each other.

    Many blessings

I have to say that THIS has made my day! You two look so wonderful together! ❤

Wow…I'm so happy, I hope that later on in this world that more people will be more openminded to interracial relationships 🙂

*Dating an Asian* It's hard with family involved and others opposing it, but you just have to keep at it, and that's what we are doing!

I pray for only happiness and more on your relationship! Teach others to not look at color, but character! 🙂
