i am so happy and couldnt wait to tell my husband that i found another couple like us. I am african american and my husband is east indian . We have been married 5mths and together 3 yrs. sometimes we feel like there are no other couples out there like us. we dont always get accepted but we love one another. I am so intrigued about your trip to india. I for one havent made it there yet ..i am too afraid that i wont be accepted. my husband wants me to go so bad. his parents are already deceased however his sisters really are curious but i am so fearful because i know they werent happy about the relationship when we first met and i am afraid of what people in the streets of india may say or do to me . I am Pakistani as well and intend to marry a Black man. How did you approach this subject to your parents? And did he convert to Islam? (I am Muslim, and he is Catholic; but i’d rather not he convert for the sake of it!)
